Bio
I have been proudly
working in sales for the past fifteen years. Early in my career, I gained
experience in the fields of advertising, magazine publishing, telephony
and audio recording.
In 1993, I got
my first taste of the entertainment software business as a marketing
consultant and buyer for American Software & Hardware Distributors,
Inc. in Urbana, IL. During my four years at ASHD, I helped them earn
millions of dollars, and I also got to know lots of great people on
the publishing side. One of the best was Alexander Seropian, co-founder
of Bungie Software, who asked
me to join the Bungie family as director of sales early in 1997. I was
the first and only person ever to hold that position. We created some
terrific, ground-breaking games (Marathon Trilogy, Myth series, Oni,
Halo) and finally built the company into a "must-have" acquisition
for Microsoft.
Since then, I've
helped launch the "new" MacPlay
for United Developers and the BOLD
games label for Destineer
Studios.
I now live quite
happily in the Chicago area with my wife Margaret and our children Katie
and Daniel.
